Eating at the snack shop after we were done. Lila pretty much slept the whole time except to eat a bottle at the top and bottom. She was great.
Our Family in the big room of the cave.
"I'm Bear's cave girl now"
What a beautiful view. Happily, this was on the way down.
I hate pictures of myself, but here you go.
Sunny loved the whole experience. Who knew that such a girly-girl would be such a great hiker and climber.
...And one of Mimi.
Now, the truth of the matter is this. I didn't really want to hike the stupid cave. What happened was my Mom said I couldn't do it b/c I wasn't in good enough shape, and I was determined to prove her wrong. Let me just say this... I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously was miserable and I told my Mom and about every other person up there I am NEVER doing it again. I'm just not an outdoor person and the cave was not worth the stupid hike (with a baby strapped to me the entire time, I might add). I thought I was going to die on the never ending trail of switchbacks. People coming down kept telling me, "It's just around the next corner." Guess what??? They lie.
If you're going to hike the cave, let me tell you this: It is far, it is hot, and it is steep. So good luck and have fun at the cave this summer. I won't be there.

I am so glad to see that you had a hard time--cause so did I! That cave trail is really hard to hike up (especially if you are a Florida girl and stil can't get used to altitude!!!) I am impressed you made it up carring a baby the whole way--I would have made Jeremy carry her :)
Lily is cuuuutttee.
It is Liley (just so you know). And, yes she is very cute.
But you did it :)
You came blame me. I forgot to warn you about all the switchbacks. I think it's pretty amazing that you did it with a baby on board. Way to go!
